The Crux is a Biblically-based evangelical Church. We believe the Church of Jesus Christ is to be recognized as a force of God, not a fortress built by men. This belief leads us to value all individuals that the Spirit leads our way, understanding that they are members of this force, this movement called the body.

We believe true life is found in an expansive, exploratory, expressive and experiential relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe God calls and equips each believer for a specific role and responsibility within His Body, and we are committed to see each individual realize that role.

We believe worship is more than music and celebration. We believe worship is a lifestyle of obedience and sacrifice. We believe this lifestyle is the only reasonable response to all that God is, has done and continues to do (Romans 12:1-2).

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It has been given to us from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through the minds and hands of God’s faithful. This Word is useful for forming, informing and transforming our lives to reflect that of Christ’s.
